The Scots enjoyed a 3-2 second-leg victory over Czechia at St Mirren Park on Tuesday to seal a 5-2 aggregate win in the play-off semi-final.
Ranked 23rd in the world, Melissa Andreatta’s side must overcome a Sweden side ranked eighth if they are to qualify for a major tournament for the first time since the 2019 World Cup.
The Swedes, who beat Lithuania 15-0 on aggregate in their semi-final, will visit Paisley for the first leg of the play-off final on December 1.

“I think St Mirren is a fantastic venue, especially when you fill it, so hopefully the fans can come back come December,” Scotland defender Docherty said in a Scottish Football Association interview.
“We know it’s going to be a tricky tie and we’ll obviously respect the opposition, but there’s just something about that underdog mentality when you’re Scottish, and I can’t wait for it.”
Docherty admitted Scotland were not at their best in Tuesday’s second leg. “Obviously, we got the two-goal cushion in the first game and then obviously, when you play at home, you want to be playing better, but it was a real together performance,” she said.
“We know that we can be much better, but the most important thing is making it through.”
