Alexis Mac Allister (27) looks set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, as per a report from Franco-Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

The Argentine recently said that he was upset at not having been offered a contract extension by the Merseyside, whilst other teammates in midfield were seeing there deals renewed. And it would seem that a new contract is not forthcoming for the Argentina international.

Liverpool are looking to rebuild their midfield in the summer of 2027 and Tavolieri understands that Mac Allister does not feature in their plans. With his deal at Anfield running until the summer of 2028, a departure at the end of the season is envisaged.

Informed of this, the player’s entourage have already begun sounding out potential destinations. Clubs in La Liga, Serie A, and the Saudi Pro League have all been contacted and alerted to his availability. So far this season, Mac Allister has played 12 times and netted four goals.
