The Reds look to bounce back from midweek European disappointment as they take on the struggling Eagles.

With Jean-Philippe Mateta suspended following his sending off against Tottenham last weekend, Norway forward Jørgen Strand Larsen looks set to start up front for Palace.

After being on the wrong side of a comeback in Turkey midweek, it’s back to English Premier League action for stuttering Liverpool on Sunday as it heads to Selhurst Park to face a Crystal Palace team emerging as potential relegation candidates.

Liverpool famously mounted a turnaround for the ages with its “Miracle of Istanbul” comeback in the 2005 UEFA Champions League final, but found itself on the other side of an unlikely revival after letting the lead slip to Fenerbahçe in a shock 3-2 away defeat on Wednesday. That loss followed its 1-0 defeat at home to EPL leader Arsenal last weekend — its first loss at home in the league to the Gunners in almost 14 years, and a result that suggests a title challenge already appears beyond the Reds this term.

The pressure for a win today is arguably even greater for the hosts, with Palace starting the weekend in the relegation zone. There are growing reports that head coach Pierre Sage may be let go should they fall to what would be a dismal seventh EPL defeat of the season today.

Crystal Palace hosts Liverpool on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Selhurst Park in South London, with kickoff set for 2 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 9 a.m. ET or 6 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 1 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia early on Monday morning.

How to watch the Premier League 2026-27 from anywhere with a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the EPL action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

VPNs encrypt your traffic and prevent your internet service provider from throttling your speeds, and can also be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, adding an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies that restrict VPN use for accessing region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions to ensure you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN usage is crucial.
