FSU offers elite 2028 wide receiver in Tennessee

Florida State has four three-star commitments in their 2028 class so far. They're looking to land some blue-chip recruits early as well, and four-star wide receiver Pierce Washington is one of them as he was extended an offer from FSU on Friday.

"After a great conversation with @JustinCrouse7 , I am blessed to receive a offer from Florida state," Washington announced on social media.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder is being pursued by some prominent programs. Some of his other offers have come from the Indiana Hoosiers, Miami Hurricanes, Ole Miss Rebels, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oregon Ducks, Texas A&M Aggies, and more.

Washington is the No. 280 player nationally and the No. 43 wide receiver per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also listed as the No. 13 player in the state of Tennessee.

His junior season is going well. Washington's 32 receptions are the most he's had on the high school level, and his six touchdowns tied his output as a sophomore. Also, his 494 yards are just 10 shy of being his best in receiving.

The next step for Florida State is getting Washington on campus for the first time.
