Barcelona have confirmed that talismanic skipper Raphinha has put pen to paper on a bumper new deal in Catalonia.

Embarking on what has been a remarkable rise to superstardom since joining the Spanish giants back in the summer of 2022, Hansi Flick’s side have also confirmed that Raphinha’s new deal will run until 2030.

Appointed as Barca’s new club captain this season, the former Leeds star has played a crucial role in Barcelona’s charge to clinching consecutive La Liga titles.

Forming a superstar partnership with Lamine Yamal and establishing himself as one of the key poster boys in Catalonia, the Brazilian international has enjoyed another record-breaking run this season.

Including a Champions League brace during Barca’s 3-0 European victory against Aston Villa in midweek, the 29-year-old is enjoying a sensational domestic romp since opening up the 2026/27 campaign.

In his first 10 La Liga appearances so far this season, Raphinha has already registered 18 direct goal contributions (15 goals, three assists).

With many billing the 43-cap international as a standout Ballon d’Or contender, Raphinha has established himself as a modern era icon at the Nou Camp.

Officially putting pen to paper on a new four-year deal with the reigning Spanish champions, Barcelona’s skipper had made it clear over the past few months that his sole focus was on finalising his long-term future in Catalonia.
