After winning a toy car, this LPGA player won the real thing with BMW ace

Andrea Lee's week in South Korea turn a major turn on Friday after one big bounce.

After a disappointing 78 in the first round at Pine Beach Golf Links in the 2026 BMW Ladies Championship, Lee heads into the weekend on a major high after acing her penultimate hole of the day, the par-3 eighth.

The perfect strike won her a BMW MINI Countryman.

"It feels awesome," said Lee, who hit a choked-down 9-iron from 122 yards. "It honestly came when I least expected it. I wasn't even looking at the car. I just wanted to hit a good shot, and somehow it went in. No one even screamed at the green. It was like the most quiet hole-in-one I've ever hit."

The last time the former Stanford standout made an ace was during the LPGA Shanghai Pro-Am, and they gave her a toy car.

"I was like, I don't want this. I want the real thing," she said. "So I got the real thing today."

Lee finished the day with a 66 and moved to even par for the tournament. South Korea's Haeran Ryu leads the field at 13 under.
