Emma Mason and Theo Gundry-White, who train at Quayside Trampoline & Gymnastics Club, will compete in the Junior World Championships and World Age Group Competitions in Nanjing, China, in November.

Their selection follows a season of strong performances under the guidance of head coach Carl Hall.

Mr Hall said: "We are absolutely delighted for Emma and Theo.

"Representing your country at a World Championships is an extraordinary achievement, and both of them have worked incredibly hard to earn this opportunity."

Ms Mason, who competes in the 15–16 age category, won bronze at the National Age Group Finals in Telford and placed fourth at the British Championships.

Mr Gundry-White, competing in the 17–21 category, earned bronze in the senior men's event at the National Age Group Finals and finished seventh at the British Championships.

Mr Hall said: "People see the performances and the medals, but what they don't always see are the thousands of hours of training, the setbacks, the sacrifices, and the sheer determination it takes to reach this level.

"Having two gymnasts from our club selected for Great Britain is something we are immensely proud of.

"Both Emma and Theo have shown tremendous dedication, resilience, and ambition, and they thoroughly deserve this opportunity.

"As a coach, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing young athletes you have worked with for years achieve something they have dreamed about.

"It's a very special moment for them, their families, and everyone involved at Quayside."

He also hopes their success will motivate younger club members to aim high.

Mr Hall said: "We want every child who walks through our doors to believe that, with hard work, commitment, and the right support, there really are no limits to what they might achieve."

Preparations are now focused on ensuring the athletes are ready for China.

Mr Hall said: "Our focus now is on making sure they arrive in China as well prepared and confident as possible, ready to perform at their very best and enjoy what will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience."

The championships will feature top junior trampoline gymnasts from around the world competing for international honours in their age categories.
