Man Utd forwards Amad and Patrick Dorgu took a full part in training on Monday morning ahead of the Champions League fixture against Roma.
Amad was forced off against Chelsea at the weekend due to a knock, but the Ivorian international has been pictured with the rest of his teammates at Carrington.
Dorgu, meanwhile, has not played for United since September, having picked up a serious hamstring injury whilst playing for his country.
He was replaced in the first half of Denmark’s 2-0 win over Wales, and he has not featured in United’s last 6 games.
The Denmark international spent a long spell out with a similar injury last season, and United’s medical team will, therefore, be cautious about his return to first-team action.
Manager Michael Carrick could do with having another left-back as Luke Shaw is still on the sidelines. He could do with some cover for Marcus Rashford as well, who also remains on the treatment table.
However, it wouldn’t be a good idea to throw Dorgu right back in versus Roma on Tuesday night, as the likelihood of a recurrence would be very high.
As mentioned, neither Shaw (knock) nor Rashford (groin) are currently available, having also trained today.
Carrick is also without Benjamin Sesko, with the Slovenian international not expected to return before the end of the calendar year. He has not played since the Carabao Cup defeat to Brighton in September due to a shin injury.
The only other notable absentee is Manuel Ugarte. The midfielder has not played so far this campaign, having undergone surgery on his knee after picking up the injury whilst at the World Cup.
