Former Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy felt Ryan Sessegnon was unfortunate to be sent off in the closing moments of the 1-0 win over Hull City.
On as a second-half substitute, Sessegnon was given a straight red card for a crude lunge on Robinho Vaz deep into added time at Craven Cottage.
Vaz, the 19-year-old, needed lengthy treatment before being helped off the field by the club's medical staff, and was sent for a scan on Saturday night.

Tigers boss Sergej Jakirovic said afterwards that the Roma loanee was in serious discomfort and struggling to walk, admitting it looked like a 'bad' injury.
Speaking on Match of the Day about the incident, ex-Cottagers star Murphy admitted he understood why referee Chris Kavanagh issued the red card.
"I actually think he was (unlucky)," Murphy said on Match of the Day. "I understand why he got a red because of the impact of it, there's nothing about accidental in the law, but I think when he loses the ball, he tries to trip him up, misses him, and slips down the back of his Achilles.
"I do think he's unlucky, but I also understand why the red was given cos of the impact of what he ended up doing."
Sitting alongside Murphy and host Kelly Cates, former Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Joe Hart offered a similar assessment of the game's big talking point.
"I played with Ryan, he's a lovely guy, top player, and I think he's just looked to do a little cynical foul and get back at the other end, he's got it wrong, he's ended up raking his Achilles and getting his first red card," added Hart.
