Lions-Packers referee takes a kick, then throws the flag from the ground

A heated moment between the Lions and Packers took an unexpected turn when referee Terry Killens Jr. ended up on his back.

After a play was whistled dead, Amon-Ra St. Brown appeared to run into Devonte Wyatt. Wyatt picked him up and brought him down again, and St. Brown’s foot caught the referee in the midsection.

Killens didn’t miss a beat. Lying on the turf, he launched the penalty flag, creating a scene fans couldn’t stop replaying.
