Cesar Peixoto has taken his fair share of criticism from Wolves supporters in the last week.
After beating rivals West Brom before the international break, the Old Gold have returned to action in poor form, suffering back-to-back losses against Middlesbrough and Bolton.
Peixoto replaced Rob Edwards over the summer, after leading Gil Vicente to a sixth-place finish in the Portuguese Primeira Liga last term.
The move initially raised eyebrows, with Wolves fans concerned that Edwards' departure was linked to the squad not seeing as much of an overhaul as the Welshman had hoped for - one that looked as though it was set to take place after words from Nathan Shi at a fan forum earlier this year.
Instead, Peixoto is left with a good chunk of the side that was embarrassed in the Premier League last season, and he is not getting much out of them, prompting criticism among the supporters.
And heading into Friday night's clash against Burnley, supporters in the West Midlands may have found some new ammunition against the 46-year-old.
Wolves have lost three times since the start of the Championship season, with two of these coming in the space of four days across the last week.
On Thursday, it was confirmed that Adam Armstrong will be unfit to play at Turf Moor on Friday, as the Old Gold look to regain form.
And while options are limited as a result of Raul Jimenez's absence, supporters do not expect the head coach to all but announce the team a day early, with Peixoto confirming that Sean Neave will start up top.
Fans would note that the Wolves boss has done this on multiple occasions this term.
Across the campaign, Peixoto has done the same with Hugo Bueno, Josa Sa, Jordan James, and recently Toti Gomes, sparking quite a frustrated feeling among fans.
Highlighting the general feeling around Peixoto at the moment, one fan would even joke about "insider spying".
Wolves are now preparing to face Burnley under the lights on Friday, where they are in desperate need of both a result and a performance to avoid this week's slip becoming the norm at Molineux.
For too long, Wolves have been an example of how not to run a football club in England.
Star players have come and gone, with attempted bargain replacements never working out as hoped, while dismal recruitment has brought the club to this exact moment.
While Edwards was on thin ice among fans after winning just three league matches at the helm last season, the general view was that he was entitled to lead the rebuild, having been selected to do so with Wolves all but relegated last November.
At a fan Q&A in May, all signs pointed to a complete rebuild ahead of the Championship return, before these plans were scrapped in favour of a "different sporting direction".
Peixoto would come in, and the rebuild never happened, with theories among supporters being that the new boss was simply happy to be handed the opportunity while Fosun above him declined the idea of rethinking the squad.
A meeting with new chairman Shi at the start of the year also offered interesting information, with it said that Wolves were preparing for a maximum one season in the Championship, "with whatever investment is required to return".
Supporters have seen it all before with Fosun, and will always take what is said with a pinch of salt, but the scenario that presented itself was a huge chance for a full rethink at Molineux.
That hasn't happened, and while the squad still has quality, it is largely the same group that won just three Premier League matches last term, while new boss Peixoto is in the early days of his managerial career and remains a relative unknown at this level.
It goes without saying that Peixoto needs points, and he needs them soon. For a side expected to go straight back up to the Premier League, the recent return has not been good enough.
This is made worse when the fanbase is ready to explode over frustrations with ownership and what felt like promises made earlier this year.

After the trip to Burnley, Wolves welcome Portsmouth and Watford to Molineux, and if they continue drifting away from the automatic spots, it feels as if Peixoto's reputation among the fans could well be gone.
The Portsmouth clash is a game in hand on the rest of the division, but before the international break Wolves could have taken top spot if they won it; now they are looking to jump back up from 10th, a reminder of how quickly things can change in the Championship.
