Summer signing Bradley Barcola wasted no time in showing Liverpool supporters how much electric pace he has, registering a season-high 35.93km/hr on his Premier League debut at Ipswich Town in early September.
After six rounds of matches, Manchester City wide man Antoine Semenyo is his nearest challenger, recording a max speed of 35.74km/hr in their 3-0 victory against Liverpool.
On the same Matchweek 6 weekend, Everton forward Thierno Barry and Fulham winger Oscar Bobb also produced speeds that catapulted them into the top four fastest players.
Interestingly, all eight of the fastest speeds recorded so far this season came from individuals who were playing away from home…

Cristhian Mosquera is currently Arsenal’s fastest player, with full-backs Leif Davis (Ipswich) and Reinildo Mandava (Sunderland), plus central defenders Joe Rodon (Leeds United) and Kristoffer Ajer (Brentford), all displaying rapid pace.
Several new arrivals have also caught the eye with their speed, including Aston Villa’s Ibrahim Mbaye, Quinten Timber at Crystal Palace, and Tottenham Hotspur's Omar Marmoush.
