JJ Watt Makes Case for Surprising MVP Candidate
Caleb Williams Lands On Cover Of Madden NFL 27

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

But former Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has questions about why this particular running back hasn’t been tossed into the NFL MVP race yet? Why is just the same names being mentioned over and over again?

“I am trying to figure out, we are here in Las Vegas, I have seen the odds on the MVP race – where is Kenneth Walker’s name?” Watt asked on “NFL on CBS” of the Chiefs’ running back.

“The guy has made an unbelievable change to that offense and you also look at the offense that he left in Seattle and how they’re struggling. And what he’s done to Kansas City now: the play action game has opened up, everything has opened up for them because of the way he runs the ball. And it’s not just taking what’s given to him – that make breaks tackles at a rate that no one else in this league is.

“Phenomenal player. Has completely changed that offense.”

After a bye week, the Chiefs go on to play the Los Angeles Chargers, and Walker is ready to go.

“I was good to have a bye week, get time off, and just chill,” Walker said according to Sports Illustrated. “I recovered and everything, but it’s good to be back into the routine and getting ready for Sunday."
