WATCH: Dolphins WR Caleb Douglas catches first career TD vs. Jets

The Miami Dolphins had the last week off, giving them plenty of time to rest, recover and prepare for their Week 7 battle with their AFC East rivals, the New York Jets, at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Through the first six weeks of the season, the Dolphins hadn't led in any game, so when they got the ball to start this contest, they clearly made it a point to get into the end zone early. After two chunk plays (a 25-yard run by Ollie Gordon and a 32-yard completion to Greg Dulcich), they accomplished that task.

On third-and-goal, quarterback Malik Willis hit Caleb Douglas for a seven-yard touchdown, which was Douglas' first career touchdown reception. It was evident that Willis missed Douglas over the last few weeks, as the wideout missed time with an ankle injury.
