Andoni Iraola's resurgent Liverpool have broken into the top four of the Premier League and are just six points behind Manchester City and Arsenal. A win over the Gunners at Anfield next weekend would put the Reds firmly into the title race.
Alexander Isak's sixth Premier League goal of the season and a Pascal Gross own goal handed Iraola his first league win at Anfield, following up on impressive victories away against Bournemouth and Brentford. The result meant they moved within touching distance of the league leaders.
Not everyone was impressed with Liverpool's showing on Sunday afternoon however, despite some standout performances for the Merseyside giants. Here's all the latest news from Anfield including some transfer talk.

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has been heavily linked with the Manchester United job if Michael Carrick is sacked and it seems he's already no fan of their biggest rivals.
The German coach was far from magnanimous in defeat when delivering his assessment of his side's defeat at Anfield, reports the Mirror.
During his press conference, when asked for his thoughts, he responded: "I think everyone in the stadium saw that there was one team who really tried to create and try to win this game and therefore I have to praise my players.
"I think everyone in the stadium, and you as well, felt there was a missed opportunity for us, because it's not only after the goal or the goals they scored.
"Also, before they scored, we had one, two big chances and today I think it was just the difference that they scored, we didn't score.
"They kept a clean sheet because they defended well with their centre-backs, with full-back [Ronald] Araujo and with [Milos] Kerkez. I think they blocked a lot of shots.
"They really defended the box well. We didn't have that efficiency. We couldn't keep the clean sheet because we made easy mistakes, we lost some important personal duels."
Liverpool supporters left in admiration of Ronald Araujo have supposedly broken a golden rule in football fandom - never fall in love with a loan player.
It's a saying as ancient as the game itself, yet the Anfield faithful couldn't resist showing their approval when Araujo threw his head into danger, from close quarters, to prevent a scoring chance, despite facing genuine risk of harm.
While he had one close call, he suffered a boot to the face from Malick Yalcouye in the dying moments of the contest to stop a counter-attack.
Araujo secured a loan switch from Barcelona this summer. The club possesses the option to purchase him for approximately £47m when the season concludes, though it remains unclear whether they'll splash the cash to make his move permanent.
Liverpool fans are certainly clamouring for the club to make that happen, and manager Iraola also seems very happy with the 27-yearold Uruguay international.
Speaking after the game, he said: "It helps a lot [to have Ronald]. I think we all enjoyed watching Ronald fighting. I think he's very good in the duels.
"Even the first goal, I think he wins two duels in a row, he arrives at the byline and after, it's not an assist, but it's worth an assist. And defensively, I think he's been really, really really good.
"I'm happy for him because I've taken him out in the last two games, because we needed more offensive things, at half-time and he has continued working with no issues and today we needed him more. He has given a very, very good 90 minutes."
