'Nobody can see it getting sorted'

According to The Telegraph, Manchester City's Premier League rivals believe an appeal verdict won't be delivered this season.

Their top-flight rivals are said to be angered at City's unwillingness to agree a settlement to bring the process to an end.

A source told the outlet: “The talk among clubs is that nobody can see it getting sorted out this season.

“That’s a massive problem because nobody is sure what they are playing for and whether or not the final positions will stand.”
