Especially after the New York Giants’ overtime win against the Houston Texans on Sunday, Monday Night Football is a must-win for both the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles.
So far, both offenses are playing like it. Dallas scored a field goal on their opening drive before Philadelphia responded with a touchdown. The Cowboys responded with a touchdown drive of their own, going 82 yards in nine plays with a nine-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Dak Prescott to receiver CeeDee Lamb on third down to take a 10-7 lead in the first quarter.
Here is a look at Lamb’s touchdown, courtesy of the NFL’s official social media:
Both teams are coming into this game with a 2-4 record. While the Eagles have been dealing with a myriad of injuries, Dallas does not have any significant injuries that have been hampering them. Their defense is simply not performing and neither is the offense. The Cowboys are looking for their first win since Week 4 against the Houston Texans.
