The final tune-up for Arkansas basketball will pit John Calipari against his old friends.

The No. 13 Razorbacks host Memphis in a preseason exhibition on Wednesday, Oct. 28. It will be the second-straight October Calipari faces his former employer as Arkansas went on the road and crushed Memphis in an exhibition prior to the 2025-26 season.

This will also be the Tigers first appearance in Bud Walton Arena since 2003. Calipari was in his second of nine seasons as the Memphis coach, and Billy Richmond Jr. led the Tigers to a 72-67 victory. His son, Billy Richmond III, goes against his hometown team tonight.

The Hogs edged Gonzaga over the weekend, while the Tigers knocked off Mississippi State in their previous exhibition.
