Inter Women coach David Sassarini said his side improved as the match progressed after a slow start against Parma, securing a third consecutive league win.
In comments carried by FcInterNews from Inter’s official channels, Sassarini said the international break had left the players needing to rediscover their familiar patterns. Once they settled, he felt Inter played with patience and composure, creating promising attacking moves.
Parma had changed coach before the fixture, and Inter had anticipated a particular approach from their opponents. Sassarini described the game as difficult, while stressing that his team had to concentrate on its own performance rather than assume every match would follow the same pattern.
The coach also highlighted how the players are becoming more adept at recognising different areas of the pitch and understanding what is required both in and out of possession. He linked that progress to several months of shared work and growing familiarity within the squad.
Sassarini said Inter improved as the match progressed after a slow opening and built attacks with greater clarity. Sassarini said the team had produced other performances with consistency across all 90 minutes, but noted that each opponent presents a different challenge.
He added that Inter must bring maximum intensity because their opponents approach matches against the Nerazzurre with full commitment. The emphasis, therefore, remains on carrying the team’s own standards into each fixture rather than relying on the result against Parma as a measure of what comes next.
Sassarini said Inter were in good condition for their next assignment, an away trip to Napoli Femminile. He presented the team’s progress as the outcome of its work during the week, with that fixture the next test of the habits Inter have been building.
