Arsenal's Carabao Cup game at Fleetwood Town was halted for around eight minutes on Tuesday after a drone was spotted above the fourth-tier club's home ground.
The Premier League champions had just been awarded a free kick in the second minute when referee Michael Salisbury spotted the drone and temporarily stopped play, leading to jeers from some fans inside Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium.
The delay lasted until the 10th minute, with the referee speaking to the stadium safety officer, both managers and then some of the players before finally restarting the game after the drone disappeared from view.
The fourth-round matchup was 0-0 at the time.
This match is the biggest in Fleetwood's 15-year history as a football league club, with this the furthest they have ever gone in the Carabao Cup.
