McLeod, who made two first-team appearances for the U’s in 2020/21 season, was part of the Wands team that beat National League North outfit Bedford Town 4-3 on penalties after their fourth qualifying round replay had finished 2-2 after extra-time, at Flamingo Park.

The Wands, who play in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier, will now host promotion-chasing Stockport over the weekend of November 7/8.

McLeod joined Leicester City in 2017, featuring in their under-18 Academy side.

He joined Maldon and Tiptree for the 2018–19 campaign, scoring eight times in 28 appearances.

McLeod signed a two-year deal with Colchester and made his first professional start for Colchester in September, 2020 when he was named in their starting line-up for the EFL Trophy game against West Ham United under-21s.

He made his first senior appearance in the 2020/21 season as a substitute in the U’s 2-0 home win over Bolton Wanderers.

Since leaving Colchester in 2021, he has played for the likes of Concord Rangers, Lewes, Worthing and Dartford.
