David Moyes insider drops major Celtic next boss claim

O'Neill has consistently stressed that he is not the long-term answer and is only weeks removed from admitting he momentarily paused for thought over his immediate after three consecutive defeats before the international break.

The former Manchester United and Everton striker reckons Moyes remains the perfect man for the Goodison Park club and believes any change of ownership would only strengthen his position rather than weaken it.

Moyes has been linked with Celtic, his former club, on multiple occasions but has never been tempted home. But Saha is adamant the veteran boss won't be tempted to swap Merseyside for Glasgow.

The ex-France international says Moyes enjoys huge backing from supporters and players at Everton and remains one of the most respected figures at the club. He also pointed to the experienced coaching staff around the former West Ham and Manchester United manager as another reason why he is likely to remain in place.

Saha has talked down any potential for Moyes and Celtic, Speaking to BettingLounge, he said:: "Talk about Everton's ownership changing doesn't alter the manager's standing. David Moyes is highly respected there.

"Whoever takes control of the club will see that David Moyes is a great option, loved by fans and players alike.

"For those reasons, I can't see him going to Celtic. He'll be at Everton for a long time."
