Angus Beith leaves Heart of Midlothian after seven years

The 30-year-old, who started as a player but moved into coaching after injury forced early retirement, has worked with various age groups at the club.

After starting with the under-12s, he moved up the ranks to become head coach of the B team and has been working with the under-19s since the summer.

Beith announced his departure via LinkedIn on Monday afternoon.

He said: "After over 7 years at Heart of Midlothian FC, the time has come for me to move on and take up a new opportunity."

"Hearts has been a massive part of my life and somewhere I feel I’ve grown massively, both personally and professionally.

"I’ve been fortunate enough to work in a number of different roles, bringing so many great experiences, challenges and opportunities to learn along the way.

"I’ve met so many top people, building some amazing relationships and hope I’ve been able to positively impact those I’ve coached and worked with at this great club.

"Excited for what’s next!"
