Noni Madueke And Viktor Gyokeres To Start; Eberechi Eze Dropped: Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Bayern
Noni Madueke And Viktor Gyokeres To Start; Eberechi Eze Dropped: Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Bayern

Arsenal face another tough away trip when they play Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

The Gunners will have to rely on their defensive organisation if they want to come away with all three points from Germany.

Bayern have scored 22 goals in just 6 Bundesliga matches, having also found the back of the net 8 times in their first 2 Champions League fixtures.

Press the next page as we share our Arsenal predicted lineup to take on the German champions.

Goalkeeper and Defence

Jurrien Timber

GK – David Raya – after keeping two clean sheets in his first two group matches, the Spaniard will be delighted if he can make it 3 from 3.

RB – Jurrien Timber – the Dutchman was player of the match last time out in this competition, and he will be looking to replicate the feat against Bayern.

CB – Ezri Konsa – the 28-year-old has certainly settled in quickly, but this game will be his biggest test yet.

CB – Gabriel – the battle between the Brazilian and Harry Kane will be one to watch.

LB – Riccardo Calafiori – Manager Mikel Arteta doesn’t like to play the Italian twice a week due to his injury record, but his experience will be vital in Munich.

Midfield

Myles Lewis-Skelly

CM – Declan Rice – you’d suspect that the England international’s main job on Wednesday evening will be putting out fires.

CM – Myles Lewis-Skelly – the 20-year-old didn’t play against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, so he should be fresh and raring to go if he starts against Bayern.

AM – Martin Odegaard – after a very bright start to the season, the captain has gone off the boil somewhat in recent matches.

Odegaard should get a lot of space at the Allianz Arena, though, which should ensure that he can stamp his mark on proceedings.

Forwards

Viktor Gyokeres

RW – Bukayo Saka – it’s been an up-and-down start to the campaign for the winger, who will be keen to get on the scoresheet on Wednesday.

ST – Viktor Gyokeres – Kai Havertz didn’t have a particularly great game against Forest, and this fixture should play to the Swede’s strengths.

Gyokeres likes space to run into, and he should have plenty of green grass at the Allianz Arena, with Bayern bombing forward.

LW – Noni Madueke – following Eberechi Eze’s abject performance on Sunday, this change is a no-brainer.
