Every player's chances of beating Luke Littler rated as Netflix show line-up announced
Every player's chances of beating Luke Littler rated as Netflix show line-up announced

We now know the 24 contestants who will have the opportunity to 'Beat Luke Littler' over one leg on Netflix later this month - with some players much more experienced than others.

Netflix marketed the show, which takes place on October 30, as an opportunity for 24 amateurs to take on and beat Littler, though the only genuine criteria was that entrants could not have held a PDC tour card and is the reason why a number of familiar faces to darts fans are involved.

There are, though, still some completely unknown faces to the darting world - with one player never having even played a darts match against another player before. One key part of the show is that there is only one winner of the £501,000 total prize: the event stops as soon as one of the 24 players beats Littler. For the purpose of this ranking, we'll assume that every player we rank will be the 24th and final player to take him on - and these numbers are in the context of whether someone can not just compete against, but beat the greatest darts player on the planet in a single leg.

So which of those 24 players have the best chance?

Will Kemp, Brett Todd, Theodore Wallich, Makinley Cooper-Johnson, Kasey Smith, Taylon Forrester

All of these players do not have a ranking on the Darts Orakel website, meaning they have never played in a recorded darts match. Their chances of beating Littler, then, are about as close to zero as you can get - but you never know.

Chance of beating Littler: 1/10

Tony Cole

Tony Cole is the player who has never played darts against another person, so is about as much of an unknown as you can get. We'll give him a point for that.

Chance of beating Littler: 1/10

Mark Pooke

Mark Pooke's last recorded match of any kind in the PDC is in the 2007 UK Open, where he won two matches before losing in the second round. He stepped back from darts after that and is now a maintenance technician, but has been tempted back to face Littler in a one-off leg.

Chance of beating Littler: 2/10

Pwyll ap Llyr Edwards

A fencing contractor by day, there is not too much information available about Pwyll ap Llyr Edwards, except for his current seasonal average that touches over 71. Like others, you'd need a decently-sized increase on that number - plus throwing first - to challenge Littler, but he is one of many that could spring a surprise.

Chance of beating Littler: 3/10

Katie Sheldon

Katie Sheldon, 22, is signed to Target Darts and plays on the Women's Series, and previously in MODUS. She appeared at the Women's World Matchplay in 2024, losing 4-1 to Beau Greaves in the quarter-finals.

From Ireland, she has been playing darts since the age of six - now combining it with her job as a wire assembler - and is a two-time winner of the WDF Women's World Cup.

Chance of beating Littler: 3/10

Pearse Mackle

The Irishman defeated future Players Championship winner Henry Coates at a Development Tour event earlier this year and finished the season in 205th place in the Order of Merit.

Chance of beating Littler: 4/10

Lauren Bloomfield

A regular on the PDC Women's Series this year, where she usually averages in the mid to late 60s, Lauren Bloomfield has gained match experience against the likes of Beau Greaves, Lisa Ashton and Fallon Sherrock.

The 30-year-old is in 19th - eight places ahead of Sheldon - on the Order of Merit and, though she would need to up her one-leg average to really challenge Littler, the same can be said for most players in the field.

Chance of beating Littler: 4/10

Zac Spain

Zac Spain has possibly one of the best sporting backstories of the entire group of contestants, as he is a top jockey in Australia with 687 recorded race wins. The 30-year-old also has a passion for darts and travelled 10,000 miles for the audition before sealing his spot.

Chance of beating Littler: 4/10

Sonay Johal

Nicknamed 'The Viking', Sonay Johal is another regular on the Challenge Tour where he has regularly averaged in excess of 70. He's had some fairly notable wins this year, too, including a victory over former PDC tour card holder Joshua Richardson at CT7.

Chance of beating Littler: 4/10

Bhav Patel

Bhav Patel is a pharmacist who runs five pharmacies in Kent, and he is also one of the few players on this list to have competed at the PDC World Championship.

The 36-year-old averaged a respectable 82 in his first round match in the 2024 edition but, unfortunately for him, came up against a rampant William O'Connor averaging 98. The Irishman won all nine legs and the match 3-0. Patel, a regular on the Challenge Tour, is another who will hope he can use that experience to help him against Littler.

Chance of beating Littler: 4/10

Zac Griffiths

Zac Griffiths, 25, spent the 2025 season on the Development Tour and produced a series of impressive averages, even beating Beau Greaves in a last-leg decider 4-3. He'll certainly be among the players that Littler has to be wary of.

Chance of beating Littler: 5/10

David Wawrzewski

David Wawrzewski is another regular at both Q-School and on the Challenge Tour, where he has averaged upwards of 80 on a number of occasions this year. The 50-year-old's highest career average is 96.18, set back in 2023, and the 50-year-old has experience he can use to tackle Littler.

Chance of beating Littler: 5/10

Jacob Gwynne

Another Q-School regular, Gwynne's seasonal average is over 83 and puts him in third in the list of players with the highest averages in 2026 to be taking on Littler.

The 27-year-old is a regular on the PDC Challenge Tour - the step below the ProTour - and is ranked 98th. He is another player who will surely fancy their chances.

Chance of beating Littler: 5/10

Jasper Scarrott

As the player with possibly the best name in the field, there will be plenty of attention on Jasper Scarrott if he gets to take to the oche against Littler.

He hit a nine-darter in Q-School earlier this year, meaning he is perfect proof that you only need one outstanding leg to get a victory.

Chance of beating Littler: 5/10

Jayden Walker

Dubbed 'the next Luke Littler', Jayden Walker beat Luke Humphries in an exhibition in 2024 - when he was 12. Humphries called him 'the best 12-year-old player I've ever seen in my life'.

He'll surely have no problems adapting to playing on TV but, now aged 14, can he beat Littler? He'll be up there with some of the favourites.

Chance of beating Littler: 6/10

Jarod Becker

The only German player in the field, Jarod Becker won four matches at the PDC World Youth Championship this year and averaged 86 and 87 respectively in two of them. He was only defeated in the quarter-final by a stunning 97.21 from Charlie Manby. Watch out for him.

Chance of beating Littler: 6/10

Ashley Coleman

One of the more popular selections for the event, Ashley Coleman is a regular in the MODUS Super Series and narrowly missed out on earning a PDC tour card via Q-School in 2025.

The 29-year-old has one of the highest seasonal averages of the entire field and will have a lot of support behind him as he takes on Littler. He's also ranked 34th in the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.

Chance of beating Littler: 6/10

Fallon Sherrock

Fallon Sherrock rose to prominence by beating Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic at the 2019 World Championship, but that's not the only success she's had on the PDC stage: she reached the quarter-finals of the 2021 Grand Slam, defeating Mike De Decker, Gabriel Clemens and Suljovic (again) on the way.

She also has experience of throwing under the bright TV game show lights as well, having taken part in a charity challenge on ITV's Bullseye earlier this year. Sherrock has never played Littler before and might well fancy her chances of winning over one leg.

Chance of beating Littler: 6/10

Mitchell Lawrie

If anyone's going to beat Littler, the 2026 WDF World Championship finalist probably has the best chance.

Mitchell Lawrie won't turn 16 until after the show airs, but the Scot has already won everything on the WDF youth tour and lost to Jimmy van Schie in the world final last year. He's favourite to win the entire tournament this year and the Scot will surely rise to the challenge of facing Littler.
