Scotland Under-21s to face Ukraine and USA in Spain

New boss Tony Docherty got off to a flying start after he took over from Scot Gemmill, who was in the role for ten years. His young Scots defeated Azerbaijan at Kilmarnock and followed that up with a 2-0 win in Pazardzhik against Bulgaria.

Docherty and his assistant manager Steven Naismith were both shown red cards during the game after a bust-up following a shocking tackle on Dunfermline's Dylan Lobban.

However, the wins were not enough to clinch a play-off spot for the Euro 2027 Finals and Scotland will now rebuild for the next campaign with a new-look squad.

And they will face Ukraine on November 12, followed by a match against the USA on November 15 during a Spanish training base.

The games will take place at the Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar, in the south-east of Spain, where Scotland have played plenty of friendlies before.
