Celtic travel to the Falkirk Stadium for a 1pm kick-off on Sunday, November 1, with Nicolson handed the whistle for the encounter.

Frank Connor and Daniel McFarlane will serve as his assistants, with Duncan Williams named as assistant VAR and Daniel Graves taking on fourth official duties.

It won't be the first time Nicolson has taken charge of Celtic this season. He was the man in the middle for Celtic's 3-0 Premiership victory over Aberdeen at Celtic Park on September 2, when he showed two yellow cards.

Nicolson also refereed three Celtic league fixtures during the 2025/26 campaign, with Celtic winning all three.

His first came in a 1-0 home victory over Dundee on December 3 before he oversaw a dramatic 3-2 win against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in February.

Nicolson was then back at Celtic Park in April as Celtic secured another 1-0 victory, this time against St Mirren.

It leaves Celtic with a perfect four wins from four when Nicolson has refereed them across this season and last.

The official also has recent experience of the Falkirk Stadium, having overseen Falkirk's 2-0 home defeat to St Mirren at the beginning of the current Premiership campaign.
