Texas A&M suffered another disappointing SEC road loss Saturday, falling 31-20 to No. 13 Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium despite carrying a three-point lead into the fourth quarter.
The Aggies entered the final period leading 20-17 but were outscored 14-0, dropping to 4-4 overall and 1-4 in SEC play. Unlike their previous matchup against The Citadel, Texas A&M relied heavily on its starters, with limited opportunities for reserves.
Marcel Reed played all 67 offensive snaps despite throwing two early interceptions. Backup quarterback Brady Hart warmed up during the game but never entered. The offensive line also saw significant playing time, with four starters remaining on the field throughout the contest.
Defensively, Texas A&M held Alabama to 68 rushing yards but struggled against the passing attack. The Aggies rotated several defensive linemen and linebackers while relying heavily on their starting secondary.
Here is a closer look at how Texas A&M distributed its playing time against Alabama.
