The Jacksonville Jaguars have made a bye-week addition to the practice squad.
The team announced on Thursday that it signed linebacker Jamal Hill.
Hill was a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft by the Houston Texans. He has appeared in 25 career games, filling a special-teams-heavy role. Hill has played just one defensive snap.
He played five seasons at Oregon. There, Hill was a sound tackler and, during his final season, was effective at getting after the quarterback as a blitzer. He finished his career with two interceptions and nine pass breakups.
The Jaguars recently waived LB Jack Kiser and signed Jalen McLeod to the 53-man roster.
