FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Jack McGlynn replaced injured midfielder Gio Reyna on Saturday in the U.S. roster for CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals against Haiti.
McGlynn, 23-year-old midfielder with Stoke City in the English second tier, was part of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup team.
Reyna, 23, exited Strasbourg’s Ligue 1 loss to Toulouse on Friday with an apparent thigh injury after scoring his third goal of the season.
His injury came the same day that Mark McKenzie replaced injured defender George Campbell on the U.S. roster.
The No. 16 United States faces 84th-ranked Haiti on Nov. 14 in Miami and Nov. 17 in Cincinnati in a two-leg series for a berth in the Nations League semifinals, which will be played from March 22-30 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
