Savio and Lucas Bergvall are set to miss Tottenham's encounter with Coventry City, though Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Dejan Kulusevski will feature in the matchday squad.
Following a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Manchester United last weekend, De Zerbi took his Spurs players to Marbella for a warm-weather training camp during the week.
The trip was designed to prime them for their highly-anticipated Monday night fixture, with Spurs still chasing their first Premier League victory of the season.
Speaking in the build-up to Spurs' home tie against Frank Lampard's side on Monday evening, De Zerbi disclosed the significant double injury setback, with both Savio and Bergvall picking up knocks prior to the squad's departure for Marbella.
He said: "No Savio, unfortunately Savio on Tuesday before leaving for Marbella felt a muscular problem and we have lost him for some weeks.", reports Football London.

"And Lucas Bergvall because he had a problem in Manchester early on in the first chance he created for Dominic Solanke. He felt pain in his knee but felt fine and on Sunday he came to the training ground and he'll be out for two weeks."
On a brighter note, however, the Spurs boss confirmed that Kulusevski would be named among the substitutes on Monday night. The Swede has not featured for Spurs in over 500 days following a serious knee injury, but appeared in a behind-closed-doors fixture during the recent international break and made the trip to Old Trafford to show his support last weekend.
De Zerbi has now confirmed a further boost as the well-liked winger continues his road to recovery.
He added: "Yes [he will be on the bench], the medical staff have given the ok. It's probably the greatest news since the Everton game. He has suffered too much. I told him yesterday and he had a big smile on his face."
Richarlison was also a topic discussed in Sunday morning's press conference, after the Brazilian striker appeared to take a swipe at De Zerbi on social media.
Former Everton interim boss Duncan Ferguson criticised the Spurs boss for the way he has treated Richarlison this season, and the former Toffees star — who has been banished from the first-team squad and forced to settle for U21s minutes — thanked his former manager for the support.
In response to the latest development, De Zerbi said: "It's not my problem any more. You have to ask Vinai or Johan. It's not my problem. I know as a coach I have to support and take responsibility even when it's not my responsibility.
"I have not decided anything in this situation. If he wants to speak to me he can find me in my office until 8.30am until the evening. But I don't want to speak any more because my focus is on the Coventry game."
