Michael Salgado-Medina kicked a 37-yard field goal with 38 seconds remaining to lift No. 22 Arizona to a 29-28 win over TCU on Friday night in a Big 12 Conference game in Tucson, Ariz.

The Wildcats (7-2, 4-2 Big 12) trailed by eight points with 1:45 remaining before Noah Fifita threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Quincy Craig. After a failed two-point conversion, Zuri Watson recovered a pooch onside kick. Following three rushing plays, Salgado-Medina connected on the game-winning field goal. Tyrese Boss sealed the victory with an interception with 29 seconds remaining.

Fifita threw for 313 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and also ran for a score. Giovanni Richardson had 11 catches for 171 yards for Arizona, which won its seventh straight home game, its longest home winning streak since 1993-94.

Trailing 14-10 at halftime, Arizona regained the lead on Fifita's 9-yard touchdown run after Tre Smith blocked a 50-yard field goal attempt by TCU's Kyle Lemmermann. The Horned Frogs went back in front 21-17 late in the third quarter on Dwyer's 6-yard touchdown reception.

The Wildcats pulled within one on a 23-yard field goal to open the fourth quarter, but TCU extended its lead to 28-20 on Craig's 2-yard touchdown run with 6:35 remaining.

Arizona scored on its first two possessions, including a 20-yard touchdown catch by Isaiah Mizell and a 43-yard field goal. TCU's first scoring opportunity came early in the second quarter, but Lemmermann missed wide right on a 37-yard attempt.

Craig scored on a 7-yard run to get the Horned Frogs on the board with 8:53 left before halftime. Hudson Hooper then returned an interception 93 yards to give TCU a 14-10 lead with 4:09 remaining in the half.
