Kody Steele turned in the biggest win of his career earlier today (Sat., Oct. 24, 2026) at UFC 333 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as the former Contender Series standout stopped Noah Gugnon via first-round TKO (punches).
Steele, who was coming off a submission win his last time out, hasn’t quite lived up to his hype coming off the Contender Series. Saturday was an opportunity for Steele to earn a huge win on one of the most stacked cards of the year. Standing in his way was a hungry French prospect with dangerous finishing ability.
This one didn’t last long as Steele was dialed in from the opening round and delivering clean shots on the feet. He eventually got inside and landed a violent combination that knocked Gugnon down. Steele quickly moved in for some insurance shots as the referee stepped in for the stoppage. It was pretty decisive and maybe a finish that can earn Steele a $100K post-fight bonus.
