Vote for USA TODAY Sports Super 25 Playmaker of Week 9

With all but one Super 25 team from last week's rankings playing in Week 9 of the high school football season, there was plenty of action in all corners of the country last week.

As such, there was no shortage of impressive performances turned in by players who suit up for Super 25-ranked teams.

Below are five players who stood out above the rest last week, plus an opportunity to vote for who you believe should be named USA TODAY Sports Super 25 Playmaker of the Week for Week 9. Whoever is voted Super 25 Playmaker of the Week this week will follow behind Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA) quarterback Aidan McPherson, who was voted Playmaker of the Week for Week 8.

Jalen Brewster, No. 3 Buford (GA)

Jalen Brewster, who ranks as the No. 1 player in the country in USA TODAY Sports latest 2027 recruiting rankings, proved on Friday night that he's more than just an elite defensive lineman. In Buford's 43-0 win over Collins Hill, Brewster, a Texas Tech commit, lined up on offense on more than one occasion, scoring a pair of goal line touchdowns in the win. The first of the pair of touchdowns runs was relatively straight forward with Brewster's 300-pound frame doing most of the work. The second of the two, however, required a bit more finesse from the big man as he stiff armed one defender and spun off another before bulldozing his way to paydirt.

Jaxson Davis, No. 9 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA)

Sierra Canyon sophomore Jaxson Davis was all over the field in the Trailblazers' 41-0 win over Chaminade on Friday night. Listed as a wide receiver and linebacker, Davis did a majority of his damage on the defensive side of the ball, finishing his night with six tackles, three tackles for a loss, an interception returned for a touchdown, a caused fumble and a blocked punt. Talk about a stat-stuffing night.

London Munoz, No. 11 Carrollton (GA)

Carrollton's high-powered offense kept rolling on Friday night as the Trojans ran past a winless Northgate team 62-13. And while Carrollton star quarterback and Miami football commit CJ Cypher impressed with a 315-yard, five-touchdown night, senior receiver London Munoz finds his name on this list after being Cypher's favorite scoring target in the win. Munoz, a UNC-Charlotte commit, hauled in six receptions for 150 yards and three touchdowns.

Branden Sharpe, No. 16 Brownsburg (IN)

Similar to Munoz, Branden Sharpe's quarterback could easily be the one on this list as Brownsburg quarterback Oscar Frye threw for 232 yards and four touchdowns. But we're once again going with the leading scoring target in Sharpe. The senior Indiana wide receiver commit and ALL-USA midseason selection tallied seven receptions for 171 yards and all four of the team's receiving touchdowns as the Bulldogs beat Hamilton Southeastern 35-7 to keep their undefeated season alive.

Lyndon Spriggs, No. 4 Allen (TX)

While the Allen Eagles dominated Rock Hill 70-14, Allen senior Lyndon Spriggs served as the Eagles Swiss Army knife. A true athlete on the Allen offense, Spriggs tallied four carries for 23 yards and a touchdown, five receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown, and a 40-yard punt return for a touchdown.
