NBA action continued Saturday with Cameron Boozer and the Memphis Grizzlies looking to be the only team to begin the 2026-27 season 6-0.
Facing the Sacramento Kings, who entered with a league-worst record of 0-5, Memphis didn't face much adversity. As the Grizzlies cruised to a 31-point victory, Boozer led the way, scoring a team-high 27 points in addition to nine rebounds, three assists and one block. In doing so, Memphis matched their best start in franchise history, now 6-0 to begin the year.
In the Eastern Conference, former NCAA champion and Duke Blue Devils guard Grayson Allen took the floor for Charlotte, putting together his best game in a Hornets uniform. The veteran swingman finished with 27 points off the bench in 30 minutes on an incredibly efficient 9-for-12 from the field, including 7-for-10 from 3-point range.
The performance marked the NBA's most efficient 25-point game of the season. Unfortunately for the Hornets, Charlotte couldn't hold on to the lead and suffered a 109-104 loss, their third consecutive.
