  • When is it? Liverpool host Chelsea at Anfield tonight (Wednesday, October 28) in a Carabao Cup fourth-round encounter. Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm GMT as the two Premier League clubs battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals.

  • What channels is it on? Viewers in the UK can watch free-to-air on ITV1 and STV from 7.30pm GMT, while Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Ultra HDR kick off their broadcast earlier at 7pm GMT. Each network will feature its own pre-match build-up and pitchside interviews ahead of the game.

  • How can I live stream it? The match can be streamed for free via ITVX and the STV Player across supported smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and web browsers. Alternatively, subscribers can tune in starting at 7pm GMT via Sky Go or by purchasing a NOW Sports Day or Month Membership through the NOW app.

  • How can I watch it in the USA? There is no traditional TV broadcast in the United States; instead, the fixture is available exclusively via Paramount+. US fans can stream the action live on the Paramount+ website or app beginning at 4pm EDT (1pm PDT).

  • Who will win? Across 200 competitive encounters, Liverpool lead the historic head-to-head record with 87 wins compared to Chelsea's 67, alongside 47 draws. Their last League Cup meeting came in the 2024 final at Wembley, where Liverpool claimed a 1-0 victory after extra time. Chelsea have not won at Anfield in front of fans since September 2018, also in this competition.

  • Who will play? Cole Palmer has been ruled out of the match because of a red card he picked up vs Tottenham at the weekend. Chelsea team-mate Joao Pedro also misses out through injury. Liverpool's Florian Wirtz trudged off the pitch vs Brighton with a knock but is likely to be fit. Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz are less likely to feature.
