Steelers vs. Saints, Week 7: Pittsburgh rules out two players for Paris

In preparation for the Week 7 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, the Pittsburgh Steelers had only two players ruled out ahead of Sunday's Paris game.

Courtesy of the team's Week 7 practice report, wide receiver Ben Skowronek (calf) and cornerback Brandin Echols (hamstring) were ruled out with their respective injuries.

Skowronek, who has spent the past three seasons with the Steelers, has become a reliable depth piece and special teams ace for Pittsburgh. He suffered his calf injury in Week 5 while covering a punt against the Indianapolis Colts, forcing him to exit the game in the second quarter.

Echols, who joined the Steelers as a free agent in 2025, enjoyed a solid season last year in which he recorded 46 tackles, six passes defended, and two interceptions. A versatile cornerback who can play outside or in the slot, Echols suffered his hamstring injury in the Week 6 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while blocking on a punt return, forcing him to exit the game.
