James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, is the first player in league history to reach 24 seasons, extending his own record. He also holds the record for most games played, with 1,622 entering tonight’s matchup against New York.
The 41-year-old superstar averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists last season with the Lakers, increasing those numbers to 23.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists across 10 playoff games as he led Los Angeles to a first-round victory over the Houston Rockets. Now, he joins Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey in Philadelphia as he pursues his fifth NBA championship.
