The Premier League champions face the side currently in 18th in League Two in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup
Arsenal could offer another opportunity to Max Dowman as they face Fleetwood Town in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The 16-year-old scored twice and was named player of the week as Arsenal beat Ipswich 4-2 in the previous round of the competition, with Arteta looking to rotate his team ahead of Sunday’s trip to Liverpool in the Premier League.
The champions will be expected to progress against League Two strugglers Fleetwood, who lie 18th in the fourth tier and some 84 places below the Gunners in the English football pyramid.
Arsenal have won 11 of their 13 games in all competitions this season and defeated Everton in the Premier League on Saturday thanks to goals from centre-backs Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Arteta, whose side were runners-up in the Carabao Cup last season, warned his players that they will need to be ready when they travel to Fleetwood. "We need to go there and win the game," he said. "Our reputation, our pride, everything is in play.”

Arsenal will be out to avoid a Carabao Cup upset as they travel to Fleetwood Town in the fourth round this evening.
The Cod Army, struggling in 18th in League Two, host the Premier League champions at the 5,300-capacity Highbury.
They are the lowest-ranked team still in the competition after beating Championship outfit Sheffield United in the third round last month.
