Otega Oweh Injury: Parting ways with Thunder

The Thunder plan to waive Oweh (Achilles) on Friday.

Oweh, a rookie second-round pick, was set to be a two-way player for Oklahoma City but suffered a ruptured right Achilles tendon in a preseason game, which will sideline him for the entire 2026-27 campaign. Following a long road to recovery, Oweh might have to settle for an Exhibit 10 deal next summer.
