Stephen A. Smith made his feelings crystal clear on who he thinks is the most overhyped team in the NFL right now.
Week 6 of the NFL season is already underway as the Denver Broncos narrowly beat the Seattle Seahawks 17-14 on Friday.
Action resumes on Sunday when the likes of the Buffalo Bills, the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars face the Las Vegas Raiders, the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texans, respectively, with a Supercomputer predicting the outcome of each match.
Ahead of the rest of the Game 6 matches taking place, Michael Irvin joined Smith on the Stephen A. Smith Sports YouTube channel.
They touched on a range of topics, including the most overhyped team in the NFL right now.
On the topic of the most overhyped team, Smith began by asking Irvin for his thoughts. But before the NFL Hall of Famer could answer, the broadcast personality chimed in, saying: "That's an easy one. I don't know why it's hard for you."
Irvin responded: "Do you think the Rams are the most overhyped team right now?"
Smith replied: "Absolutely the Rams right now."
The Dallas Cowboys legend, however, then explained why the Rams may not be overhyped.
"I knew you were going to say that. But let me tell you why it's hard for me to go there because I believe the Rams are a very good football team," he said. "You look at their record, I would take, if the Cowboys were the Rams, I would be happy."
Irvin added: "I would be happy because I know that's just a click and all of that's going to fix with the Rams. That's just a click. They'll get Myles Garrett soon... they're one play away from being undefeated. That's why I'm saying that I don't know if they're overhyped or they just haven't clicked."
The Rams are 2-3 ahead of their Week 6 game against the Arizona Cardinals, having lost to the Bills in Week 5.
Sean McVay's side opened their campaign with a trip to Australia to face the San Francisco 49ers, losing 27-7 at Melbourne's iconic MCG.
But the team's travel plans were scrutinised after they landed 28 hours before the Week 1 fixture, with Smith bemoaning the decision to arrive so late.
Speaking on ESPN's First Take, he said: "You start off the season in Melbourne, Australia. What in the hell are you doing travelling to Melbourne, Australia, and landing 28 hours before kick-off time? Some of the decisions that have been made by Sean McVay, who I consider next-level, brilliant, love him as a coach. But these are incredibly, incredibly disappointing moments where he has literally cost his team."
Smith continued: "Your offence shows up and plays big time, your defence is opportunistic, it makes plays. One special team mishap after another last year, got a couple times this year.
"This time around, you going to open the season travelling to Melbourne, Australia. Who doesn't know that you don't need to bring your football team and land across the ocean 28 hours before kick-off?
"Who the hell doesn't know that? That's some basic, basic stuff. And the dropping of the ball that has taken place with Sean McVay. To me, it's those kinds of things that cost them."
