Lando Norris set the pace in the first practice session at the São Paulo Grand Prix.

The Brit crossed the line 0.082 seconds ahead of world champion Kimi Antonelli in a heavily-upgraded McLaren.

Max Verstappen, who was busy on the Red Bull team radio calling the downshifts "unacceptable," was third-fastest.

Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton was fourth, with Mercedes' George Russell rounding out the top five.

Second practice goes green at 7 p.m. GMT / 2 p.m. ET.
