When Aaron Rodgers retires from the NFL, he’ll go down as one of the best quarterbacks or his era. While that’s been the case for years, Rodgers found a way to remind fans of his place in NFL history in Week 7.
With his second quarter touchdown pass to Darnell Washington, Rodgers passed Indianapolis Colts legend Peyton Manning on the all-time passing touchdowns list.
Rodgers managed the achievement on a jump ball to Washington, who bullied a defender and somehow held onto the ball as he was shoved out of bounds.
With the touchdown, Rodgers now has 540 passing scores in his career. That figure puts Rodgers at third all-time. He now trails Drew Brees and Tom Brady on that list.
