Ross High RFC is inviting people of all ages and abilities to try the sport, which is a "low impact, non-contact" version of traditional rugby.
Walking rugby focuses on fun, teamwork and laughter, promising "no running, no tackling", just gentle exercise.
The club says it is a "perfect" opportunity for anyone looking to get active, have some fun and enjoy exercise in a social environment.
Complete novices are also welcome to the weekly sessions, which take place every Thursday from 7pm until 7.45pm at Ross High Rugby Club in Tranent.
The club says that prospective players can "come along, bring a friend and give it a go – no boots, no pressure, just rugby at walking pace".
The first four weeks are free and then £2 per session thereafter, and the clubhouse is open afterwards for a "well-earned refreshment and a chat".
