GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers reportedly are adding a quarterback to their practice squad who is already quite familiar with receiver Christian Watson:
The Packers are signing Cam Miller, according to ESPN. A 2025 sixth-round draft pick by the Las Vegas Raiders, Miller played college football at North Dakota State.
His first season as the starter in Fargo was 2021, Watson’s final college season before the Packers drafted him in the second round. Noah Pauley, the Packers receivers coach, was also North Dakota State’s receiver coach that season.
Miller completed 103 of 152 passes for 1,444 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions in 2021.
Since entering the NFL, Miller has spent time on the Raiders and Miami Dolphins practice squads. He was in training camp with the Dolphins this season, where former Packers executive Jon-Eric Sullivan and defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley are GM and head coach, respectively.
Behind Jordan Love and Tyrod Taylor, the Packers have also carried quarterback Kedon Slovis on their active roster.
