The Golden State Warriors beat the Orlando Magic 126-119 in overtime on Saturday night at Chase Center to grab their seventh straight win after going 0-3 to start the season.

Stephen Curry led the way with 41 points and made some of his biggest plays in the final minutes, with the 11-time All-NBA guard’s night drawing praise across social media.

Stephen Curry Delivers for the Warriors in OT Win Against Orlando

Curry shot 13-of-19 from the field, 5-of-10 from 3-point range, and 10-of-10 at the free-throw line to finish with 41 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 36 minutes. He is now one of seven players with 26,000 points, 5,000 rebounds and 6,000 assists, a mark he reached at 38 years old in his 18th season.

LegionHoops laid out the full stat line and added a short verdict: “Still a problem at 38.”

Golden State led 57-41 at halftime, but Orlando stormed back to carry a slim 78-77 lead into the fourth quarter.

Curry’s layup with 25.2 seconds left in regulation put the Warriors ahead. Orlando answered on its third try, when Jamal Cain tipped one in with 2 seconds left to force overtime at 110-110.

Orlando went up 118-117 with 2:24 to play before Curry’s and-one 46 seconds later made it 120-118, and the Warriors never trailed again.

Former Brooklyn Nets assistant coach Steve Jones neededonly four words to describe the two-time MVP’s performance: “Stephen Curry is ridiculous.”

One hoops fan could not help but bring in another superstar into the conversation, posting, “Bron wasn’t doing this at 38 btw.”

No player in NBA history has more 40-point games after turning 35 than Curry, who now has 16, one more than James and four more than Michael Jordan.

Legion Hoops looked at the Warriors star’s red-hot tear, listing his recent production and remarked, “absolutely timeless.”

That stretch covers his last five appearances, starting with a 44-point night at Minnesota on October 28. Over those games, Curry has scored 179 points, an average of 35.8 per game, with 30 3-pointers made.

Curry had plenty of help on Saturday, as rookie Yaxel Lendeborg added 23 points and 8 rebounds, including a 3-pointer in overtime. Brandin Podziemski scored 15 on 4-of-5 shooting from deep while Draymond Green handed out a season-high 13 assists.

The Magic fell to 2-7, but had kept Golden State under pressure into the final minute while playing without Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs and Desmond Bane.

The seven-game streak is Steve Kerr’s team’s longest since it won seven in a row from March 3-15, 2025. The Warriors (7-3) will look to go for an eighth straight win Monday night when they host the New Orleans Pelicans at Chase Center.
