Following a dull first half at The Racecourse, Kieffer Moore gave Phil Parkinson's side the lead in the 64th minute with a wonder strike.
However, the Baggies turned things around and won with two late goals when the Reds' defending left a lot to be desired.
Here's how the players rated.
ANTHONY PATTERSON: Read the game well, especially in the first half, but didn’t have a chance with Isaac Price’s strike. 6
ZAK VYNER: Won’t be happy with the first goal Wrexham conceded, as he backed off Jimmy-Jay Morgan. 5
DOMINIC HYAM: Wrexham were looking comfortable at the back but again they shipped another two goals and the skipper went AWOL for The Baggies second. 6
CALLUM DOYLE: Came back into the side and was neat and tidy as ever. 6
ISSA KABORE: Wrexham’s best outlet in the first half and unfortunately there was no-one in the box to meet a beauty of a cross. 6
GEORGE DOBSON: The Reds’ midfield didn’t really make an impact in the game. 5
BEN WHITEMAN: Needs to start playing a lot more forward passes to win over a huge number of Wrexham fans. 5
JACQUES EKOMIE: Didn’t really get forward enough as he could have done on a dull night for Wrexham. 6
OLLIE RATHBONE: Got the assist when he worked well down the left hand side with Ekomie. 7
KIEFFER MOORE: Scored an absolutely stunning goal but his touch, work-rate and energy in both boxes was first class. 8
CALLUM O’HARE: Worked hard in a role a bit closer to target man Moore but didn’t have one sniff of a chance. 6
SUBSTITUTES
SAM SMITH: Came on pretty quickly after Moore had scored Wrexham’s opener. 5
DANNY IMRAY: Came on for Kabore to add fresh legs down the right side. 5
LEWIS O’BRIEN: Didn’t have much time to get a grip on proceedings. 5
BAILEY CADAMARTERI: Sent on late on to inject some pace up front. 5
RYAN LONGMAN: Another very late replacement by Reds boss Phil Parkinson. 5
