Roma prepares for the match against Daniele De Rossi’s Genoa with five key absences.

Gian Piero Gasperini will be without Svilar, Cristante, Koné, Dybala, and Malen, all key players he has relied on this start to the season.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the emergency situation comes after the defeat against Real Madrid, a match that left further physical issues.

Against the Ligurians, Gasperini will likely rely on Mora, Pisilli, and Castro, who will be called upon to fill a role in a lineup without key players.

Roma’s main concerns right now are Manu Koné and Paulo Dybala, both forced to leave the pitch against Real Madrid. Both will undergo tests today to determine the nature of their injuries.

The most delicate situation remains that of Koné, who came off in tears against Los Blancos and is feared to have a hamstring injury. Dybala, on the other hand, is more optimistic, as he is likely to miss only the match against Genoa.
