Anna Stembridge has been appointed the new head coach of England through to the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney.
A former Wales international with 45 caps, Stembridge has had a previous stint as England head coach from 2011 to 2015, in which the side secured a historic first series win over Australia in 2013.
Having been assistant coach since September 2024, she has also served as interim head coach since March after Jess Thirlby's shock resignation four months prior to the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
In Glasgow, the Vitality Roses finished fourth after losing to Australia in the bronze medal match.
Reflecting on her appointment, Stembridge said: "It is an absolute honour to take on the role.
"When you talk about coaching ambitions, this is the ultimate one, so I feel very privileged.
"I've been lucky enough to work with this group of athletes over a number of years, and I'm really excited to have been appointed to lead them to the Netball World Cup."
Stembridge is joined by Sky Sports pundit Tamsin Greenway and Jo Harten in her coaching team through to next year's World Cup in August and September. Both enjoyed distinguished international careers with England.
Greenway is also head coach of the London Mavericks in the Netball Super League, and was previously in charge of Scotland from 2020 to 2023, while Harten is assistant coach of NSW Swifts in Australia's Super Netball League.
England Netball will work closely with both clubs to support the coaches in balancing their domestic and international duties.
