The Denver Broncos could get reinforcements from injured reserve this week.
After sitting out the last four games on IR, Broncos second-year wide receiver Pat Bryant is eligible to return to the active roster this week. Before suffering an ankle injury in Week 4, Bryant had served as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Jaylen Waddle and Courtland Sutton to begin the season.
Also eligible to return from IR this week are backup offensive tackle Frank Crum (leg) and tight end Caleb Lohner (foot), who have been eligible since Week 5 but have not yet returned to practice. Broncos backup lineman Nick Gargiulo (knee) has also been eligible to return from the reserve/physuically unable to perform list since Week 5.
The key word is eligible, because it's not clear how quickly these players will return to action. If Bryant is ready to go this week, Denver will likely create a spot for him on the 53-man roster. The Broncos are limited to eight players returning from IR during the season, though, and they have already used three of those designations, so the club will have to juggle roster logistics as they make decisions on which players to bring back from IR this fall.
